Weatherscan
I am dismayed that weatherscan is no longer offered on Cox San Diego. When I chatted with sales they said call tech support. After waiting for 15 minutes I am told station is no longer offered even tho the web site still has it on the line up. Why did sales not know a station has been dropped. ?? why did I not know a station has been dropped?? Where can I go to see the info every month that is supposed to tell me a station has been dropped now that I have gone paperless??

I agree! And I had a similar experience with Cox San Diego. They evidently do not have advance notice when a channel is dropped. I want to know why this channel is gone. Is Weatherscan still around or did the company go out of business? Is this happening in other markets?
This is the single most useful channel there is. The Weather Channel has changed significantly, so it is not very helpful anymore. Local on the 8's is way too brief.
Is there anything we can do? Please HELP!!!

Hi Everyone, You can pull up a PDF file of your statement online at www.cox.net. In the statement is a section titled News From Cox. This is where we print all notifications and updates about your services.
You can also sign up for email notifications. The email you use doesn't have to be an @cox.net email and you can select what type of notifications you want. Here's a link to get you started.

Weatherscan was the most useful station on TV. There is nothing comparable.

I am sorry. I pulled up my new paperless bill and I STILL do not see that Weatherscan is going away. Maybe you could point it out to me.
I am still confused and irritated. Can I get weatherscan back if I pay more????

I'm not sure why the removal of the Weatherscan channel wasn't included in the "News from Cox" section of your monthly statement. I've reached out to our Video Product Team in CA for more information. I'll get back to you as soon as I have more info! Thanks for your posts.

I am able to get the Cable version on my computer but it is not the same.
There was no substitute to the amount of ingfo you got in one minute.
Please bring it back. :)
