Is it the same number? Lucky you. You can block calls by buying a standalone call-blocking device or a new phone with the call-blocking feature. Or you can give Cox another $10 a month and they'll block the number as long as you want. Although a call-blocking device or phone would pay for itself in a year.
Once you're on a calling list, your number will spread like wildfire. Moreover, most call blockers and Cox's Call Rejection Service only block a limited number of numbers.
Blocking one number is manageable...if not lucky....but expect more to come.

They are pests. They won't stop calling and they don't respect the Do Not Call list. If you hit the Answer button and quickly hit the Hang Up button, they sometimes think that yours is not a working phone number and they give up.
I finally bought a Panasonic phone with the ability to block 250 numbers. Model kx-tg7872 ( i don't work for Panasonic or promote them in any way). I usually add the telemarketer's number when they call for a 2nd time. Lots of the spammers and scammers change numbers daily (they don't really change their number.... they change what appears on your Caller ID). Consumer Services won't get thru again.
