Why not give the user the ability to view only the channels he wants to read about?!
Out of all the stations I get, there are but maybe 14-20 that I actually watch, so why do I have to see ALL the channels?
Consider the above option for your clients/users/subscribers!

Can't you create a favorites list and do exactly that..?

In Contour, use the "SET SKIPPED CHANNELS" function. I did.

Contour lets you set a list of your favorite channels as well as a list of skipped channels. Start at page 99 of the Contour User Guide, found at http://media.cox.com/support/print_media/tv/interface/general/Trio_Users_Manual.pdf. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
