Time Errors on Guide

Cox has no control over the accuracy of the data provided for their guides. That is under the control of the programmer and the EPG data provider (TMS, etc.) If something is so important that missing it "completely ruins the event and your night", I recommend multiple sources. Zap2it had it at 6pm, while TVGuide.com had it at 9pm. Nope, can't blame Cox for this one.

Uh, what?  Ok, check this out:  Cox is my cable provider.  They are, no matter what you say, ultimately responsible for their own cable guide.  Hence, this error is Cox's error. 

Also, nice try on projecting the error onto me as far as "multiple sources".  You gotta be kidding me; either that, or you are a Cox shill.

Agree or not, Cox has NO idea what is on XYZ channel at XXpm. They rely on the program provider and the guide data provider for that. There was obviously confusion with the online guides as well, with Zap2it and TVGuide.com, among others, having different start times. If it makes you feel better to call me a "Cox shill" (humorous in itself), so be it. That doesn't change reality, however.

[Gee, I wonder how many people it would take to check the multi-hundreds of channels 24/7 for listing accuracy? I wonder how they would even know that channel 1905 had a program change 30 minutes ago. Gee, maybe the Programmer would tell the guide data provider. Ya think?]

They are  not responsible for last minute scheduling changes,  So by your logic if a sporting event or another live even goes over the time shown in the guide it's Cox's fault?
