Speed increase in Tulsa area??
Its my understanding that my speed will be making another tier jump here soon. A cox rep advised me that "towards the end of summer" we should see a jump to 100mbit or even 150mbit as the speeds provided will be increased. I have the ultimate package and was curious if it was possible to make the jump now? Also if you could confirm the upload and download speeds I should expect to see and what date. Thank you for all your help.

While not a official answer, I remember a post a couple weeks back on DSLreports on it. They were saying Q3 of 2013.But I think they were pushed back because of the Hurricane.

Tornado, and yes, that did set things back a bit. But we never release official dates very far in advance anyway. I'm afraid at this point I can't release a date for any area. I don't even know when we're going to upgrade the area I live in.

Thank you so much for the quick responses, although if a date cannot be released as to when the change will take place can you confirm the speeds of the packages?? I am currently on Ultimate and would like to know what I will be bumped too. I've heard speculation of 100mbit or even 150mbit with a 50 mbit upstream?

Not having information specific to Tulsa there is not a way to give the exact numbers, but the other systems that the upgrade has already effected on Ultimate have gone to 150 Mb down and 20 Mb upload. So I would expect something along those lines.
