Shows Not Recording

Two nights in a row (tonight and last night), I have had two shows fail to record on the CW network due to "problems tuning to the channel where the program aired".

Last night I had 4 or 5  recording at the same time and those other shows recorded just fine, but missed the show on CW and tonight the show on CW was the only show that I was recording at that time.

Any suggestions to keep this from happening again or is this just "one of those things".

Okay...so after I noticed that both times my DVR failed to record a show on the same channel, I tried going to that channel and get the "temporarily off air" with a 3.1.1.2 code....then I started going down the line and noticed that there are about 12 other channels that I can't get because of this.

A tech is supposed to come out Saturday morning to check the DVR...anyone else having this issue?

That sounds like the box is having difficulty tuning switched digital video channels which suggest the box is either having problems communicating back to us or has simply failed.  You could try checking all the connections to ensure they are hand tight the disconnecting power for two minutes and reconnecting to reset.  If that doesn't work having a tech come out is a good next step.
