Security Suite - McAfee problem

My computer suddenly stopped displaying web sites in my Microsoft edge (windows 10) web browser while my wireless connection shows that it is connected to the internet.  I did some checking on the internet (with another computer which oh by the way connects just fine) and find that people are saying that the a McAffee software unintstall sometimes fixes this problem.  As an aside it is interesting that I am getting a message on the computer that the McAffee virusScan has expired.  I attempted to uninstall the McAffee program by the normal method and was unable to.  it just wouldn't uninstall.  I then tried the detailed way described by windows 10 pro website only to find that I couldn't disable a number of the sub routines running.  

So the long and the short of it is, is that I need a way of uninstalling the Security Suite downloaded from your site (entirely) so I can determine if this is what is causing the problem I am having with viewing web sites.  Can you help me out with this?
