We used to be able to record two shows and watch a third show at the same time. A couple of months ago, it all changed. Now we are only able to record one show and watch a second show at the same time. Did Cox change something? How can we get it back to the way it used to be?

Assuming you have a 2 tuner DVR, you can't record 2 and watch another through the box, you only have 2 tuners. Nothing has changed, this was never possible. The work-a-round is to split the cable and connect it directly to your TV in addition to the DVR. That way you can record 2 shows on the DVR while watching a 3rd analog or clear QAM channel directly off the cable. Once Cox goes all digital, all channels will be encrypted and this will no longer be possible ... you will need a minibox to watch the 3rd show.
