Why is not Cox posting something about this outage some place.  There is nothing here or on their facebood page.  They don't even have a status recording on their phone system.

Does Cox realize that live sports is the only reason to have TV service anymore?  If you can't get the live sports, there is little point in paying hundreds of dollars each month.

"Thank you for calling Cox Communications. Due to high call volume we are unable to answer your call at this time. Please call again later." Fantastic. I feel better.

Hi, everyone.

We apologize for the interruption during tonight's Thunder game. The issue was corrected and the feed restored before the game's end.

Rest assured that the responsible digi has been thoroughly chastised and sent to time out. He's promised to be on better behavior. We hope you accept our apologies.

(I honestly don't know what happened, but am glad we got it fixed.)  We hope you enjoyed the rest of the game.

Yes they did get the problem fixed.  What made me even madder is that there was ZERO communications from Cox about this problem.  The recording on the support phone was just that all agents were busy and to call back later, that is if it did not just hang up on you.  There was nothing posted on your Facebook page or on this forum.  All we had was a blank screen.  It would have helped if a "Technical Problem" was just put up on the screen.  I wonder how many people rebooted their boxes thinking that it might me them.  With all of the communications methods available today, there is really no excuse for this bad service.
