On Demand cutting out

Anybody else having issues with On Demand freezing and then skipping forward about 5 seconds all throughout a show?  Just noticed it doing it a week or two ago.  First noticed it when the kiddo wanted to watch Mickey Mouse on Disney Junior a couple weeks ago, then again last night when the wife and I wanted to watch last weeks Big Bang Theory on CBS.  Have to say it is kinda annoying when you are watching a comedy show and it freezes and then skips over the punchline.  I will reset my box and see if it happens again.

Something else to observe is if it happens at the same part of the show. If it does, it could be something with the video on the Ondemand servers. If not, then it's probably a communication problem between those servers and the cable box.

Do you have any other problems, like with the guide not working? Or the box resetting itself?

Nope, no other box issues that I can tell.  I just got a new one a few months ago so it should be in tip top shape.  The freezing happens in regular intervals, maybe about once every couple of minutes or so.

Could you email us at cox.help@cox.com with your full address and the primary name on the account. We can take a look at the signal going to your cable box. - Xavier

Could you explain this? Why did you need a new one? Did the old one break? If so, how?

The same type of issue as I am having now, but with live television.  Tech support told me to swap my box with a new one as this is sometimes a symptom of a box going bad.

At this point live TV is fine, it is just the On Demand that I am having issues with, which leads me to believe that it is not my box.
