no component connections on new contour box
when I ordered the new contour box the sales person said there were component output connections. when the technician arrived he said that was false. only HDMI or rca outputs. I bought a HDMI to component converter but when I connected it all I get is audio but the picture does not come in. Any suggestions. thanks

First, here is a page that lists Cox receivers and their outputs. The Arris Contour 2 boxes don't have component output. What hdmi to component converter are you using? Only suggestion if you can't use hdmi is swap the Arris box for a Cisco, if Cox can do that.
