I just moved and got Cox Cable for internet. I am able to hook up all my devices wirelessly to the modem.
I have a network space 2 by lacie. I was able to use it on my old internet using a wireless router hooked up to the modem. The La Cie uses an ethernet connection to hook to the router. Of course the cox modem has a router built in and I assumed I could just hook up the external storage same way. But that doesn't work. La Cie default IP address is 192.168.1.115. My iPad wireless IP lookup APP recognizes it but no other device can see it. Not sure what I am doing wrong but the drive is priceless with so much data and pictures on it.
Hopefully someone here can help me.

In a word...yes. I make it a habit to stay far far away from them. Maybe a moderator can help though.
Cox, for the love of science, stop pushing these junk devices to all your customers. Your shooting yours and the customers' in the foot.
