Netgear CG3000D router - wireless goes offline

I have a Netgear cg3000d combo router that I purchased about 5 months ago. My old setup couldn't handle the higher speeds and number of devices. The Netgear started out flawless but over the last month or so the wireless will stop providing any addresses and nothing can connect. The wired connect works fine - I have a cisco IP phone on a wired connection and I can connect my laptop via the wired connection - which is how I am communicating now. But nothing will get a wireless connection. If I reset - unplug and plug back in - the router, everything is fine for a period of time but then it will stop accepting the connections again. This is starting to happen more frequently. Has anyone seen this or have any thoughts on how to correct it?

I wonder if you have a new source of RF interference nearby that didn't exist before.  Perhaps a neighbor installed a router of their own or new cordless phones have been setup.  One thing you could try is logging into the gateway and changing the wireless radio settings to use channel 1, 6, or 11 and see if the problems gets better or worse.

I changed it from auto to channel 1 this morning and it is still working tonight - maybe that will work. I will keep you posted.

Thanks!
