NBA League Pass
Since the people who make decisions at Cox are [enter comment here], and decided to make people who pay for league pass have to pay more for contour, even though league pass is a SEASONAL PACKAGE just to watch basketball in HD. May I have at least one day of HD goodness?

Could you explain? According to this, as long as you bought the subscription from Cox, you should have access to the whole package on NBA's website. Just need to activate the account.
Or are you talking about some kind of blackout? Do you mean HD online or HD on your TV?

Interesting. So it sounds like its using the new 1ghz bandwidth? If so, wouldn't any cable box with a 1Ghz tuner be able to tune in? I ask because I know there was some FCC hub-bub about this a couple months ago with the extra Premium channels and I thought Cox reversed/revised that condition. From a customer's perspective, it looks like Cox is using these extra channels as bait to get more contour customers, while certain FCC restrictions state that Cox must offer the same channel packages to its cable receivers and cable card users, as long as the equipment is technically compatible. I state this as a generality to discuss. I am by no means a expert on such regulations.
If nothing else, you still be able to watch it online in HD for free. But its kind of funny Cox would WANT their customer to "cut the cord".
