On Sat., July 21, my Cisco Whole Home DVR was reset remotely by a Cox technician to fix a problem with stations being on the wrong channels. After that reset, the volume on my TV is about half of what it was before the reset. Please help me for the fix for this. Thanks!

Setting> Audio& Video> Audio settings> Volume Level> changed volume from fixed to variable. This will allow you to adjust the volume of the box.

That was one of the things I checked first. It was then, and still is set to "Variable".

Try setting it to fixed. Fixed audio should set the box to about 70% volume that is the optimal level to use to the sound comes in the best

I had already tried setting it to fixed. No change. Is there any way to increase the volume on the box while using an HDMI cable? None of the volume buttons on our three boxes do anything, so I assume they're for one of the other "audio out" connections.
