HD CABLE RECEIVER BOX
Hello,
I have Economy TV channels, a HD TV and a cable box.
I want to get rid of the cable box and just connect my TV direct to the Cox cable..I did this, scanned but no channels were there.
Does Cox have to re-program or come out to me ?

Since cox went all digital you would need at lease a mini box in order to get any channels screwing the coax cable directly to TV doesn't work anymore.

AFAIK, the minibox won't receive all the channels in the Economy package, it only works with Starter and Essential services. You need a digital STB with your subscription.

Thanks for quick answer but
I have a modern HD TV-I used to get all the channels before I got the HD receiver box.
I don't want to download movies anymore. Not making sense !

Cox is 100% digital platform. As a result, every television will need to be connected to a digital set-top box or a Cox compatible CableCARD device.
