HBO without cable TV
I am planning on canceling my Cox cable TV in the near future but will be keeping the broadband Internet service. I would like to keep HBO and access it purely through HBOGO on my laptop, tablet, and Roku, is this possible?

I'm sorry to hear that you will be cancelling your Cox video service soon. Are you having any technical issues with your cable, or is the decision to cancel based on finances?
A subscription to HBO is required to access HBOGO through any device. Whether you are using Roku, X-BOX, smart-phone, or PC, you will be redirected and required to login with your primary Cox user ID and password. The authentication process allows your provider (in this case, Cox) and HBO to ensure you have a valid subscription to HBO. This authentication process works the same no matter who provides your cable.

I understand how HBOGO works, my question is: can I cancel my cable TV service and then continue to pay for my HBO subscription
