Hunt is a point in the boot process the box goes through while restarting. I think it's when its asking Cox's system for the channel mapping; which channel = which frequency. What happens if you unscrew the cable cord from the input and they try rebooting box. It may say a different error, but if you get the "Hunt" still, means probably something wrong with the box.
