is there a way to review e-mails from a ipad or smart phone and delete them and when you get back to your desk PC they will be deleted/gone/cleaned up? Currently I am having to delete from Ipad , I phone and then my desk PC.

Cox email only provides POP3 support, with no IMAP support. IMAP is great for multi-device access - keeping everything in sync.
In all of your device settings, you need to tell the server to delete (trash) messages you have deleted immediately - and not something like "keep for 1 week". If you delete them immediately, they will be removed from the server. This is not to say they will not be received by any of your other clients. If you have two devices receiving mail (and they are both on) they could potentially receive the same message. Then, if you deleted it from your iPad, it could still be on your PC.
Overall, I suggest getting a Gmail account, and just forwarding your cox mail to that. The, use the IMAP protocol in Gmail.

I was wrong. Looks like Cox has quietly enabled IMAP support.
Setup all of your devices to communicate via the IMAP protocol.
