My Wife has 10,000 emails in her account, what is the fastest way to delete 9980 of them?

Hello williepete,
You would actually have to delete the emails by page, meaning if you have 50 emails per page you would check the empty box above all the emails to select all and hit delete. Go into your settings and make sure you select up to 100 entries per page, that would be the easiest way.
