DVR - Record 16 at once
I saw a billboard in Macon, GA that advertised Cox DVR could record 16 shows at once. Is Cox upgrading? My poor old Cisco 8642 box will only record two. Anyone have a clue what's going on in middle Georgia?

I believe that ad refers to the whole home DVR's host box ability to record two shows at once with setups permitting up to 8 host boxes per home.

The upcoming Cisco 9842HDC will record SIX shows at once, but it isn't available anywhere yet, IIRC. It's possible that some Whole Home connection of multiple 9842s would record 16 shows at once, but I'm only speculating on that. Take a photo of that billboard, OK?
