Dropped connection on Windows8 only.... ??
Help, please! I've had Cox for almost 3 years now and no connectivity problems until I started using a laptop with Windows8... now I am regularly kicked off, sometimes every few hours and sometimes every few minutes!
I have a Nexus Google tablet and have no connection issues.
I have a laptop with Windows7 and have no connection issues.
My Sprint smart phones have no connection issues.
BUT-- with 2 laptops now running Windows8, I am booted constantly! I made sure the drivers were up to date...
Could this be a router issue? If so, what kind do I need to purchase to keep the Windows8 devices connected?
I appreciate any feedback on how to keep connected...

Hi j512002,
I have been researching the issue and you're not alone with Windows 8 having wireless connection issues. What type of router do you have? I would recommend a firmware update for the router to make sure you have the most up-to-date that is available. When you lose connection are you still connected to your network but not able to get out to the internet or do you lose connection to the router completely as well?
