cox.net as home page

have had cox for 2months now. I was using cox.net as my home page and last week I could no longer get there and all that popped up is a msg saying the web site was down and Cox was working to fix. After a few days I went to the Cox store and the web site is working fine.just not on mu computer. i use Mozilla firefox and windows XP. phone call to cox help was no help. anyone have a clue???
