I have some user oriented recommendations:
The DVR list should only show programs recorded by the current user. I don't want to wade through everything others are recording. Leave a default user that can see all programs for just-in-case. This ties into the unique experience tailored to each individual user so touted in all your advertising.
Why move to the "B" button for most confirmations? Users can find the "A" button without looking and by touch in the dark. The "B" button almost guarantees having to look down to find it. Bad ergonomics! This is mostly tied to channel/program selections, things like date/time confirmation in the guide can remain on "B" as I use it infrequently.
Give me the opportunity to block erase recorded programs between any two selected programs. We always have a gaggle of old recordings that never were nor will be watched and 5 button pushes to erase each and every individual record is tiring.
Give me the opportunity to reset the default series recording parameters rather than forcing me to change them for each and every series I want to record. e.g. - "Episodes" is defaulted to "First run and repeats" when I usually only want to automatically record "First run only".
Thoughts from a cranky old software developer.

Just hit the big white "SELECT" key instead.

A. It's only 3 pushes. Scrolling doesn't count as individual pushes. B. You must be out of shape if pushing buttons on a remote "is tiring."

You must have missed the "cranky, old" (lazy & fat) part of my post!

That prohibits you from pressing the "SELECT" key?

This is not a question of what I "can" do, the "Select" button works quite well; however, the screen prompt asks for the "B" button not "Select". This is a question of user interface consistency and utility and does not address what I can discover as a user with regard to undocumented operation(s) (no matter how much fun it is).
Maybe I should have requested the prompt to be changed from "B" to "Select"?

The option to use "SELECT" in many operations was added in an update last year, and was announced by Cox (as part of an e-newsletter explaining what changes were in that update, IIRC.)
