Can't login to new Panoramic Wifi Gateway

I just got my new Panoramic Wifi Gateway provided by Cox (Brand: TECHNICOLOR, Model: CGM4981COM) and I can't login to the router. I tried factory resetting it and using admin / password, admin / admin, leaving it blank, admin / last 8 of the serial number and none of them are working. I don't know the default login and when I chat with Cox their suggestion is I pay $10/month for advanced troubleshooting. Why would I pay to troubleshoot a product they provided me?

Anyone have any ideas on what the default user and password might be for this model? I google searched and tried most everything I saw suggested online.

Hi, the best way to access settings on your Cox Panoramic Wi-Fi router is to use the Cox Panoramic Wi-Fi app that is available for Apple and Android devices. Once you install the app, you can log in to it with your Cox username and password. This is the same information you use to log in to the Cox website.

To factory reset a Cox Panoramic modem, press and hold the WPS button on the back of the white modem for about 60 seconds until the lights blink, or use the recessed pinhole reset button on black/grey models for 10-30 seconds

@Darkatt​ thanks. I did factory reset it but still can’t login to the router trying to use different common user and passwords that would usually be the default.

Hi,

 

Since most features are offered through the app on the new Panoramic Wifi modems, there are very few settings avbme when you log into the app. The one setting I can think of is to set up bridge mode. But the instructions on setting up the bridge mode included the steps to log into the Pano modem.
