Contour 2 remote

Hello,

I am having trouble pairing my Contour 2 remote to my 2015 tv. I have inplugged my cox receiver and tried to pair again. I do have the receiver paired from the tech who installed it. But the tech called my receiver the tv, no biggie.  However, I have changed my setup to Cox Receiver connected to the Tv and the receiver is for sound.  In the contour 2 menu it recognizes the tv but not the receiver and therefore never completes the setup.
