Cisco modem/router
I recently complained to Cox that our internet service was terrible. The tech suggested that perhaps my equipment was old and sent me a new Cisco modem/router all in one. It is AWFUL. Even if you are sitting in the same room, you don't get a full signal. So I have broken down and purchased a netgear Nighthawk router. How do I hook this into the Cisco modem/router? THANKS!!!

The Cisco gateway won't work with another router attached unfortunately. If you're wanting to keep the Nighthawk you'll need to return the Cisco and purchase a stand alone modem. I did look at the modem from here and all seems well as far as I can tell. Can you try testing a wired connection and see if that works any better?
