Cable box ...

I just recently got a cable box and tried hooking up my RCA Blu-ray Disc player to it but was unable to access the internet with it. I've tried doing an Auto connect setting for the network and also tried entering the IP address manually, both ways failed to connect. Does anyone know if there is anything else I need to do to get access to the internet through my Blu-ray player?

Do you have Cox internet? The blu-ray doesnt get any internet connection from the cable box if thats what you mean.

Might want to move this to the Internet Forum.

Last what kind of blu-ray and router do you have?

Hi Health Edge, Yes, I have Cox internet. Yes, that is what I mean, no connection from the cable box. Thank you, I did just that, I reposted the same question on the Internet Forum. I have an RCA Blu-Ray Disc player and the router is an Linksys Etherfast Cable/DSL Router. Thank you for your Reply.
