Brief interruptions on NBC, Dallas game Sunday Nov. 8.

This is not earth shaking, by any means, but I wonder about the transmission of the game last night. i live in Las Vegas and noted that the picture/sound was freezing at various times during the game. I was not recording anything.  Do cable systems lose the signal for a few seconds or buffer the signal somewhere along the route of the transmission?

 I am writing out of curiosity, when I should be outside exercising.
