Big Ten Network Overflow Channels
Does anyone know what the Big Ten Network overflow channels are in Phoenix? The Cox Representative doesn’t seem to understand what I am talking about and they keep giving me the regular Big Ten Network channels of 320 and 1320 for HD. I already know those. The problem is that during the football season the Big Ten Network schedules several games at the same time. They will schedule one of the games on the regular Big Ten Network channel (320/1320) and the others will be on the overflow channels. In the Cox Channel Listing online it says that the Big Ten Overflow channel is 1677 but that is the MLB extra innings channel on my tv which I do not get with my service. My issue is that Northwestern/Syracuse and Nebraska/Southern Miss games this week both start at 3:00 on BTN one of the them will be on the regular Big Ten Network channel and the other will be one the overflow channel. I really don’t want to miss my game if it is on the overflow channel. Please help as I specifically spend extra money to receive the Big Ten Network so I do not miss any of my team’s games. Thank you.

Have you received any replies to this? Do you have a solution? We are just now realizing this emergency situation! We can go to the bar but already have plans to have friends over here to watch. Any updates?! :(

Many areas get just the main BTN channel and not the overflow channels. I believe Phoenix and San Diego are two such areas. To find out for sure, enter your zip-code at: http://btn.com/about/btn-channelfinder/
Also: 3. FULL RANGE OF DIGITAL, MOBILE, SOCIAL MEDIA EXTENSIONS: The BTN2Go mobile app is available to authenticated subscribers of participating video providers on tablets, smartphones, and PCs, and is the second-most widely distributed “TV Everywhere” sports app. The 24/7 BTN simulcast also offers on-demand access to BTN’s deep archive of games and original programming and Extra Football Game Channels.

It's unresolved. I talked to the cox people and they basically told me I was wrong and didn't know what I was talking about. They said I could restart my receiver or have a tech come out.
I checked the BTN website and it said that 1677 was the overflow channel for Phoenix. However, unlike other providers they only have one overflow channel and the Nebraska game wouldn't be on that one anyway. I previously had Directv and could get every game on BTN so I am seriously considering changing my service back. Plus in order to get BTN you have to buy the sports and info pack. Right now I am paying $130 for my cox service. I was paying $70 for Directv (which was the full price after my contract) for the same channels.
You can watch the Nebraska game at www.btn2go.com but that doesn't do much good if you are with a bunch of people.
P.S. I have already written cox and the BTN about how upset I am about this. I believe Phoenix is one of the largest Nebraska alumni bases in the U.S. so it's absurd that the Nebraska game is not on T.V. here.

And now btn2go is offline so now I'm really ticked. First game I will not be able to see in over 5 years.

Missing Nebraska's thrashing of mighty Southern Mississippi must have been a terrible thing. Next week, however...

I live in Oklahoma but I am a Nebraska fan. I also talked to the cox people and they told me Nebraska wasn't even on TV. They had no idea what I meant by extra football channels on BTN Guess it is time to change to Uverse.
