Hi Folks;
Over the past few days I have been noticing some interesting thing happening with my main DVR box. First, only a channel or two would show severe stuttering and pixellation, but today, it looks like its finally giving up. Every single channel is stuttering and unwatchable. While I wait for the cox tech to get here (Friday :( ), I have been reading some stuff about these boxes going bad often. Any truth to that?
I suspect the issue to be the box itself,as I have a remote cable box from the WHDVR that is working perfectly fine.

I'm sorry to hear you're having this issue. I know how aggravating it is to try to watch something while the picture keeps tiling. Tiling usually indicates the signal to the cable box isn't as strong as it needs to be. This could be from something as simple as a loose connection, to a dying splitter (internal or external), or to something outside your house completely--in our equipment.
If there is a splitter connected the the coax line going to that box, you can try bypassing to see if that resolves the issue. I'm glad to know you have an appointment scheduled. Please let us know how it goes.
Thank you,
