Arris TG2472 5Ghz not connecting

Yesterday, I picked up the Arris TG2472, and hooked it up last night. The 2.4 GHz is connecting and seems to work fine. However, when I connect my Iphone (or any other device) to the 5 GHz, I can establish a connection to the router, but there is no internet service. Do I need to return my unit?
