8742HDC not outputting 1080i
When I switch video settings on 8742HDC to 1080i wide (only option for 1080i) my Sharp HDTV scans it as lower res, therefore the image not all viewable. The image is OK when 8742HDC set to 720p but the TV is definitely 1080i HD and I am not getting the benefit of a HD TV. This malfunction started suddenly last night and was functioning OK until then. Suggestions? Comments?

What model TV do you have? Its odd for a TV to be 1080i resolution.
How do you have the receiver connected to the TV? component, HDMI, etc?
Do you have anything inbetween? Like a surround sound system?
