This error occurs when your connection has been blocked for sending too many bad SMTP email commands which is often an indication of an email trojan infection. Other possible causes could be an email client on any PC or device which connects to your home Internet which is experiencing problems too. Many times there is an Apple device which is experiencing problems. If you have any iPhones or iPads you could try removing and re-adding your email settings. It'll take a few hours from once the problem is resolved for the block to be removed.

This has happened to me before too. Someone at work got us all locked out by having a bad passcode on their phone.
