480p signal? Guide aspect ratio wrong.
Weird problem in Baton Rouge. I have 2 TV's, one in main living area with DVR, and one in bedroom with HD digital cable box. The one in the bedroom went weird today. The aspect ratio of the guide doesn't fill screen as picture does it's not 4:3 (it should be 16:9) it is vertically narrower than normal 16:9 wide screen picture. In other words it appears to be wide enough but not tall enough. Also the Vizio remote info reports a 480p signal for Cox cable instead of the normal 1080i. Any idea how to correct this? I've tried rebooting and changing some things in settings to no avail.

When you toggle the settings for Guide Aspect Ratio, does the size of the guide change at all? After rebooting, did the 16:9 ratio still show selected?

Thanks for the reply.
No that didn't help. What I found, eventually, was to go to settings>Audio and Video>Video Output and it was set to 480p. Reset it to 1080i and the problem is corrected. I've no idea what caused that setting to be changed as I didn't do it but that is what problem was.
