Why is the time displayed on my PC different from that shown on my TV?

Record start times not accurate
All my recorded programs get cut off a minute or two before their actual end. The recording of the programs also begin a minute or two before the actual program. I get the ending of the previous program. How can this be corrected?

NTP - Network Time Protocol: Cox server?
I've searched everywhere I can to see if there's an on-network NTP service I can sync to. I know there's lots of them out there... but if there's one on the Cox network, I'd prefer to connect to that (assuming it's reliable). And if there already is one... why doesn't it show up when searching for "NTP"? (A search for "time" brings up a huge batch of unrelated entries.) Thanks! Ray

Experiencing crippling packet loss. I would assume it's some hardware damage from the ice storms recently since it's never been a problem the past few years. Can this be isolated and corrected?
