Porting from Bundled Service
We have a bundle of services with Cox including Internet, TV, Home Phone, and Home Life Security. I want to port the phone number over to Ooma. When we do this, will this cause a cancellation of the bundle of services, or will it only affect the phone service so that we can cancel only the phone service from our bundle? What I don't want is for Cox to cancel all the services just because I port the phone number. Thanks in advance!65Views0likes1CommentPorted Cox Number and now people in local (Phoenix) area cannot call me. They get number not in service.
I have worked with both T-Mobile and Cox to resolve this issue. Cox is extremely unresponsive. T-Mobile has re-broadcast the number and it still isn't fixed. Cox does nothing. From another post regarding basically the same problem you see there is a solution by Cox. I am running out of options and patience with Cox to resolve this issue. If it's not Cox and not T-Mobile it must me aliens from Mars I assume. No problem calling or receiving calls from other Cell phone uses or other landline users, just Cox local. Have missed some rather important Doctor calls because of this. I ported to T-Moble ..... I recently had my Cox number ported over to CenturyLink. Now local Cox customers in Omaha can't call me, they get a busy signal. I can dial out fine, and others can call me, its only Cox lines that get the bust signal. I am told by several people this is most likely a Cox switching issue. I'm searching for the right Cox tech who can help me. Ended up getting with the "people who can work on the switches" and sure enough they found an issue on a switch with my number. Fixed that up and voila! my phone works fine now.Solved4.5KViews0likes4Comments
