Unable to log into Cloud Drive
I can no longer access the Cloud Drive from my desk tops. I get a message saying that I have to enter a valid user name and password. When I set up the cloud drive, everything worked fine for several months, but although the user name and password have not changed, I can no longer access the cloud drive, but only from desk top computers. I can access it from my iOS mobile devices, with the original user name and password. What do I need to do?5.1KViews0likes13CommentsOnline Cloud storage..

I have recently purchased a Dropbox (1tb) cloud share and have started to upload family pictures to it for sorting/organization. Each time I add a bunch of photos to Dropbox (no less than 50mb, no more than 100mb at a time) my internet starts the sync just fine and then all of the sudden it completely shuts down (remote access lost, local access to internet lost) and requires the modem to get restarted. This ONLY happens when uploading large amounts to dropbox. I have tested this 10-15 times (over several weeks) and each time exact same results. Upload starts... suddenly the whole house is no longer able to access the internet, it is 100% down, not just slow due to bandwidth speeds, I am on the 50/5 plan, running the latest Docsis 3 modem and a 2 month old Netgear router, and am wondering why Cox / DropBox has this effect each time. Is cloud backup and or sharing against the account rules??2.6KViews0likes3CommentsUpload to Cox Cloud = 0.067 MB/s, not quite as advertised.
I'm upload a pile of stuff, 4.3 gigs, as a backup. The Drag and Drop app tells me 19 hours remaining and errors out on "file in use" constantly even when files are not in use; and it stops the transfer until you answer the error popup. According to my math it'd take 17 days running 24/7 to fill the 100 gigs allotted. This is not what I'm paying for, will this problem be addressed? I very much want a good cloud backup solution, but Cox does not currently have one, they have a terrible imitation. Cox tested speed and actual cloud upload speed...2.4KViews0likes2CommentsLogging into the Cox Cloud Drive?
Win7 Installed the app. Can't login to the app on my desktop. I logged in online searched for any information in my account aout the Cloud Service yet found nothing. When I do go to drive.cox.com, on my desktop, I type in phone # on the webpage in a browser(Chrome) and poof...I am in. When I type the credentials in that I successfully used to login to get to forms.cox.comI get a message that says "invalid username or password"2.4KViews0likes3CommentsDoes Cox break your internet connection when doing heavy cloud backups?
It sure seems like they do. Every time I start CrashPlan, my internet service "dies" and I have to reboot the modem, after that, all is fine until I run CrashPlan again. Even when limiting CrashPlan to 300Kbs uploads it still happens. No other service does this, torrents, dropbox, etc. all work fine.2.3KViews0likes1CommentCan I use my mobile devices to watch Cox TV On Demand shows?
Would like to watch Cox Cable On Demand and our Cox DVR Recordings from my Kindle HD Fire 8, Kindle HD Fire 7, and / or cell phone (LG Power, LG37G) when not at home. Is that possible? Specifically, the programs 'This Is Us' and 'This Is Us Aftershow' are of particular interest. How about other Cox Cable TV programs? All, this is, admittedly, an admission of stupidity/ignorance. Still: I've been uploading files via the Cloud Drive "app" on my desktop computer in order to deposit many, many music files. At the moment, I have 7,000 files to go up that are estimated to take 55 days to file. I'm in no rush. Even if it's taken more than two weeks to upload 20 gigs of music, which is what the app claims it has uploaded. My question is: After signing in to drive.cox.com, I see the Music folder. And there's nothing in it -- when I click Online FIles off the left menu bar File Manager. Nor in the Backups. Am I just wasting electricity? Or even dumber than I think I am? How do you remove/delete files from the backup file list? So I goofed and added files I really don't want to back up but there is no way to edit the list and delete files from it. Why? There's a button to ADD more to it. Why can't I remove files I really don't want to bother backing up?1.9KViews0likes2Comments
