ESPN3 not going to highest quality
I have the preferred internet service with a docsis 3.0 modem and get advertised rates on the speedtest. I've noticed that ESPN3 replays will not go up to the highest quality. This has not always been the case, but started relatively recently (within the last few months). I contacted ESPN and they claim to have no restrictions on either live or replay streams. It seems absurd to ask, but does anyone else notice this or does COX rate limit ESPN3? Here is a sample stream that will not go beyond half quality: http://espn.go.com/watchespn/player/_/id/2672915/ Any help would be appreciated2.1KViews0likes1CommentWatchespn app for internet customers
Hi, I was wondering why I cannot access the watchespn app as an internet customer on a mobile device? Also, when I try to use the full site on my mobile device it continues on to the mobile site. Mobile devices include iTouch, iPad and iPhone. All devices are connected to my cox home wifi. I have no problems watching through Apple TV or on my desktop.5.7KViews0likes0CommentsWatchESPN needs to include Cox
Since August 27th, WatchESPN is not available to subscribers of Cox Communications. We who are Cox subscribers can no longer watch ANY live programming on WatchESPN.com (on PCs or Macs) that isn't specifically designated as ESPN3 content (which is basically cricket and Canadian football right now). All the good stuff, college football, basketball, etc, basically anything from ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU, is closed off for us, except as replays. When will Cox restore our ability to watch ESPNs live sports content, as we could before? And please don't pretend you need to see if there's demand for it.7.9KViews0likes12Comments
