Data cap
So if you live in California, apparently Cox is now going to cap your data at 1TB, and charge you a ridiculous amount for overages. WHY? Why am I paying for high speed, premium service, when I can't use it? I can exceed the cap in less than a day. In fact, if I leave my streaming services on, my bill would theoretically be about $25,000 with overages. WTF Cox? Are you serious? Data usage has increased over the years, and with the available streaming choices, internet users WILL be using tons of data. That's just how it works. I have 5 adults in my famiily, and they all use computers. Of course our usage will top 1TB per month. I see that COX has provided an solution for the data cap by dreaming up a 'service' called Unlimited data, which does nothing but cost the consumer more money. Does it give them better performance? NO. Better quality of service? NO. Anything? NO. It is simply a way for Cox to make more money. Placing data caps does nothing but piss of customers. If you want to charge more for your service, JUST DO THAT. Don't hide it under a guise of something that it is not. If Cox decides to stick to its data cap policy, I for one will find another internet service provider. I will also tell everyone I know not to use Cox.5KViews1like11Comments
