I accidentally bumped into the channel up/down button on the TV and it changed the channel on the TV, not the Cable box, causing the only thing to appear now is static. I read/assumed just set the TV back to channel 3/4 but that doesn't do anything as well....I know this has to be a simple fix and don't want to waste the technicians time.2.4KViews0likes1Comment

I have the black 8820 cox remote, it will not turn on or off theTV. However the volume works and the mute button works, I have tried many different codes with no luck. Hey guys, exchanged an old DCT6416III that crapped out today with a new one, I have the worst luck with these boxes, this is the second actual box I received today because the first exchange wasn't activating at all. Everything is working, only problem is NONE of my remotes work on it. Can't change channels, turn it off, record, or whatever else, with the remote for the DVR. I have one of the new black/blue remotes, and the other two are the old silver/black ones and none work. Anybody got a solution, or should I just get another box tomorrow?2.8KViews0likes1Comment
