Refund Request from cox. For those who overpaid on their cox bill and got confused.
Advice from paralegal! Record your phone conversations when you start talking with the phone rep. Be nice, and ask politely for them to issue the base amount that you overpaid. Basically what happen to me, is that the first time I called and wanted to record my conversation with them she said no I can't. Actually, cox, if you start to record conversations the customer has the right to record. They said they will issue me a check for $117.86 that takes about three weeks. October 5th is when I am expecting it to arrive. If they don't issue you a check. You can take them to small claims for for money damages awarded in your favor. ustomer interface on the Cox Home page?
I sign on the my "account" page and all I get is the "Interactive bill check here" message. I'm not able to see or pay my bill. I've changed my password and all looks ok. Still can't pay or view my services sof bill. I do get a lot of "commercial pop-up windows" but no account information. Clicking on the footer URL's doesn't do much but return me to the interactive info page. Has anyone seen this? Good thing I still get snail mail bills, etc.2.2KViews0likes1Comment
Paying for premier services getting dial up speed
I there a reason I have been getting below 10 download and over 40 upload speed? This mainly happens at night. But if I am paying over a 260.00 cable bill I should get what I pay for. Unable to process online payment
I have this weird message when i try to pay my bill online (using the web/app). It said that "We are unable to process your payment online. Please contact a Customer Care representative to make your payment". Anybody knows whats going on before i have to make the call to cox support (don't really really want to do this)? I was curious on whether or not my data limit would increase when I upgrade packages; currently I am only using preferred but was thinking of going to ultimate. I find myself often going over the limit with playing video games, having multiple devices and streaming/recording my gameplay. Hi, I recieved my bill, but I don't know what is the Home Networking Gateway Equipment Fee. Is that the fee of purchasing the modem? In my bill, I also have a partial month service, the Gateway Modem Equipment Fee. I am starting to get concerned. I have always paid top dollar for Cox because they did what it could to stay ahead of the competition. However, now even my cell phone moves quicker than cox at less than half the cost. Cox: $65/month for 20mbit/s and a 2mbit/s upload AT&T: $30/month for 30+mbit/s (depending on where I am) and 11+mbit/s upload on average Almost everything you do now relies on your upload speed just as much as your download. Gaming, video phone calls and the sort. Just about everything has video now for chat....computers, tablets, gaming systems and now even my TV has a camera in it if I wanted to skype someone. I make a skype call on my phone to another phone...great streaming video. I make a skype call from my phone to any of my PC's on cox....or PC to PC on cox.....delay, lag, jittery image coming from the other party (while my image streams great if from my phone). So let's look at upload.....$65 for 2....or $30 for 11+.
