You agree not to use the Service for operation as a de facto Internet service provider, or for any other business enterprise (whether for profit or non-profit), including, without limitation, IP address translation or similar facilities intended to provide additional access. Providing caching services in return for TFuel Payment (the networks payment currency) must fall under this? Re: Streaming Video Data To the Public Their acceptable use policy prohibits hosting servers or server like services. Hosting a decentralized caching server surely is a violation of this policy? Streaming Video Data To the Public I'm wondering if it's agaisnt the AUP to stream video data to the public. I'm not talking about streaming videos completely, but bits and pieces of a video, in a P2P fashion, kind of like how BitTorrent works where you download bits of a file from multiple people, but you're doing the same for a video stream. More specifically, hosting a Theta Network Edge Node. The Edge Node allows you to relay video streams over the Theta Network and earn TFUEL, providing support to THETA.tv and other upcoming video platforms using the Theta Network. With the latest update, you can now also broadcast your own video streams and have them distributed over the Theta Edge Network! This allows you to stream entirely peer-to-peer without any centralized CDN involved. To me, this seems like you are running a caching server of sorts which would be accept the Acceptable Use Policy. Re: Cox's 300mbps DL and 30 upload speed I'm having the same exact issue. I have Gigablist with unlimited data. $180 a month and I'm getting constant lag spikes during non-peak hours (11PM-4AM). This is completely unacceptable. At this point I'm ordering Frontier Internet and canceling unlimited data and downgrading my Internet speeds because it'll be cheaper. Frontier is offering 25Mbps up and download in my area with no data cap.. I need the upload speeds for my camera system which uses a huge amount of my data cap so I'll also be able to remove that. Multiple BBB complaints with no fix in sight and it's been about 4 months. Re: Download speed fine. Poor/intermittent upload speed. Having the same issues here in CT for about 1-2 months. Re: Upload Speed Issues (Once Again) in the Las Vegas Area I'm in CT but have noticed the same thing. Started in October for me as well. My upload speeds drop to 1-2Mbps. I have 5 Nest cameras that need at least 10Mbps to upload in HD. I pay for 35Mbps. Re: 192.168.0.1 This doesn't explain what device the 192.168.0.1 is. Re: 192.168.0.1 I'm curious what this 192.168.0.1 IP is exactly. My modem IP is 192.168.100.1 (owned by me) and my router IP is 192.168.86.1. I can't login to 192.168.0.1 with any default passwords. hmmm Upstream Power Levels for Gigablast? Hello - I've been having upload speed issues the last couple weeks (barely getting 1Mbps - occasionally shoots up to 7Mbps) Do these power levels look normal? There isn't much online, but the little I did find said these should be around the 45 dBmV range. I tried to reach out to chat support, but they had no idea what these power levels were. I've included my Downstream power as well. I have a Netgear CM1000 > Google WiFi > 8-Port Gb Cisco Switch > Hardwired PC (has not changed - used to be able to get 35Mbps speeds - and download speeds are 300-400Mbps still) No changes to modem location or wiring.
