Although he said the node is just overloaded as well. I doubt the maintenance ticket will fix our node problem in our zip but I hope it helps a bit. Re: [Update] Confirmed Packet Loss Resolution: Goodbye Cox - 92071 Honestly, I am not too hopeful that anything will fix judging by the posts in this thread. Seeing as well all have the same zip code and the technicians were unable to fix your problem. I'll post an update though when the technician comes tommorow. Re: [Update] Confirmed Packet Loss Resolution: Goodbye Cox - 92071 According to the Standarche, it is supposed to be October. It would be nice to get a definitive answer here though as well. I don't think anyone who works from home will be able to do anything for the next eight months if it really is October. Re: [Update] Confirmed Packet Loss Resolution: Goodbye Cox - 92071 My technician appointment is on Saturday, so I'll post an update here. I doubt it's your cables in your apartment as it seems everyone in the 92071 zip code is having the same problem. I just hope Cox fixes this before October because I've dealt with this for about a year now as well. Re: [Update] Confirmed Packet Loss Resolution: Goodbye Cox - 92071 I'll see if the technician appointment fixes anything in case before I switch. Thanks for the information. Re: [Update] Confirmed Packet Loss Resolution: Goodbye Cox - 92071 I just removed the amplifier and the issue still persist, the internet keeps constantly disconnecting. I get kicked out of my class zoom meetings all the time and my parents use voip to work and the customers can not hear her due to the packet loss. Re: [Update] Confirmed Packet Loss Resolution: Goodbye Cox - 92071 Did you switch to AT&T and if so, how is the internet connection? Re: [Update] Confirmed Packet Loss Resolution: Goodbye Cox - 92071 I'm also in the 92071 area code and I have the exact same problem. I also had a technician come out last year in August who also detected packet loss and submitted a ticket for repairs in the plant for the area. My internet had finally stabilized for a while but the same problem has come back now and the internet constantly drops. Re: Paying for tech to investigate Intermittent Service disruption (i.e. timeouts) in 85255 So my tech scheduled for maintenance to come and check on the lines outside my neighborhood. He was getting 17% packet loss when he was checking on it from the tap which is the problem. So now I am waiting for maintenance to fix the problem. Re: Paying for tech to investigate Intermittent Service disruption (i.e. timeouts) in 85255 I also scheduled a tech to come on Thursday the 13th. I'll post my results here as well. My location is 92071 though instead.
