This is not a complaint of the amount of data allowed per month (1 TB here, not happy about it tho). I did go over the 1 TB amount due to work files. My complaint is I received two emails at exactly the same time on Sept 30th at 6:02 PM. One said I have used 85% of my TB usage and another saying I used 100% of my TB usage. Then on 10/1 at 5:02 I get an email letting me know I used 125% of My TB per month. It looks like your system polls once a day how much someone uses. It needs to be WAY more accurate to let us know when, say, 85% is actually used so I can slow down, or in this case I could have done more transfers from work. When I write this I am at 132% with 11 days to go. So I am guessing I will hit 1.5 TB that will be $100 overage. Now I could upgrade but this was a must use case, I usually stay about 400GB per month. Upgraded from SB6141. Can you check to see if I have the latest firmware? Also I have the 150 Down package and only getting about 116 when running speed test from cox site. Can you check to see if im set up there correctly too? Also when I did self install It did not have the Arris 6190 listed as a modem to activate so used the closest in drop down menu (RARM760) in case you see it listed wrong. I still can not do any testing but reading the apple thread there some major differences. All those people have random disconnects thruout the day. Our issue happens at the same time everyday. Also we don't need to reboot modem or router. Problem fixes itself after an hour or so. And in that hour sometimes the connection does work for a min or 2. And everything thing says DNS errors. Not saying issue is not apple related for sure but been using same equipment for 3 years at 2 different locations and apple has not updated their firmware in 2 years. Oh, And i know the problem started between Oct 27. 2015 and Nov 2, 2015. I was out on vacation for that time and it happened, that i noticed, the for the first time at 9PM Nov 2nd when i got home. The other reason I know its (9PM every night, I have to log into work at that time everyday and its a 90% fail 10% success rate. This may be a wild shot but when was the last firmware upgrade sent out for the surfboard modems over your system?. If it was between Oct 27 and Nov 2nd..... Just a wild shot. At 9PM the internet starts cutting out and get DNS errors. Sometimes pages load and sometimes it times out.
