Contour occasionally won't pause/rewind
Over the past few months, my Contour box occasionally won't allow me to pause or rewind shows. I get an error message that says something to the effect that, "This set top box does not allow you to pause/rewind." One day it works; another day it doesn't (last night it didn't; today it's working). This is quite strange because I really haven't had this issue in the past. I recently purchased the iPad Pro (2017 edition). The Contour app on the iPad no longer works. Each time I open the app, it takes me to the login screen. When I input my user name and password, it tells me that I've exceeded the maximum three login attempts and to wait 30 minutes to try again. Contour works fine on my iPhone XR. I contacted Cox and the issue was escalated to another team with the promise to contact me within 48 business hrs. Three days went by so I called them back and received the same response...escalation to another team with a promised call back within 48 hrs. Favorite channels limited on TV
My favorites list includes regular digital channels and HD channels. The entire list appears intact on my iPad. But my television Contour guide favorites list only shows a small portion of that list. I just recently reactivated my programming, but I have the same equipment as before. Is this a universal issue or does anyone have a suggestion on what's going on?3.1KViews0likes5Comments
