Their response: "The switch was done a long time ago, a couple of years now. If it was working up until now that is amazing but yes for security reasons we switch to imap a while ago." They probably just realized POP was still working and shut it down. Customers said it started about a week ago. I have multiple reports from cox webmail account holders, that their POP email isn't working. They can send email fine as smtp.cox.net works fine, but they aren't receiving new emails. When attempting to ping pop.cox.net I get the following. ping pop.cox.net Pinging pop3.east.rs.oxcs.net [198.61.137.172] with 32 bytes of data: Request timed out. Request timed out. Request timed out. Request timed out. This is in Phoenix, AZ. Please resolve as no tech support person is willing to address it. Thank you.3.3KViews0likes35Comments
