I tried that because it always puts mail from my brother in the spamfolder,no matter how many times I mark it as "not spam" and add him to my address book. Redirecting his e-mail to the inbox with a rule doesn't work either. Re: New Improved Cox Webmail - "NOT"! No I decided manyyearsago to purchase cox internet service on the basis that it included email in the price. If it is no longer included inthe price, it is a material change in the terms of service. Re: DRM preventing viewing of most channels in Las Vegas market Tiffany R is posting the same canned repose on all queries regarding Cox's decision to impose DRM on all channels.. As far as I can tell, there is no legal requirement that they do so,. This appears to be a policy decision by cox to freeze out a certain group of its customers.. Cox has put DRM on all channels in Tulsa AGAIN Six months ago, my Silicon Dust home Run stopped working on most channels because COX had suddenly flagged all channels with DRM except the locals A week after I queried this, things went back to normal. Now it's happened again. This is very frustrating. I can't see that its official policy because, if it was, they wouldn't change them back? But if its not official policy WHO keeps messing with the DRM settings every few months? Please change them back again. MH Tulsa Re: Cox Tulsa - all channels except local have disappeared on my Silicon dust HD Homerun, Still no actual response form COX but I re-scanned this morning and the DRM flag hasgone form the non-premium channels, and everything works again. Re: Cox Tulsa - all channels except local have disappeared on my Silicon dust HD Homerun, I have left a detailed description at cox.help@cox.com. I'll wait for a response. Re: Cox Tulsa - all channels except local have disappeared on my Silicon dust HD Homerun, Thanks Crystal. I did a rescan and also reset everything. I can stillonly get my local channels. I noticed after the rescan that all channels except the locals are now labeled "DRM," which theyweren't before thecodec change. Cox appear to havechanged all the channel flags when it converted the streamsfrom Mpeg 2 to whateverit is now.As I understand it, the HD homerun viewing app is DRMcompliant, so it should allow me to view the channels even if the flag to stop recording is set. . This has apparently happened to a lot of HD homerunusers during the conversion. forum.silicondust.com/.../viewtopic.php Cox Tulsa - all channels except local have disappeared on my Silicon dust HD Homerun, I am NOT attempting to record things, just to watch TV on my PC using the HD Homerun viewing app, something which worked fine until Cox started the upgrade from MPEG 2 the the new format . I've read some posts stating that Cox has set a DRM "no record" flag on everything but local channels, but the HD home run software is supposed to be DRM compliant, and should not ha a problem with watching, as opposed to recording, TV . I contacted Cox, who gave me the usual "nothing wrong at this end" speech. Anyone have any ideas? This is about this last straw with COX for me. Everything was working fine, and they go and mess it up, and deny having done so. . I have two PCs I occasionally use to watch TV . My Cox bill is already over $300 a month, and I am not going to pay them $20 a more or two more boxes.. Re: tunein/BBC failures The message is "we didn't find any playable streams" Thanks for testing. As it works both from CA and my UK proxy, I think Cox may be doing something silly locally. Last week they blocked access to webmail from outside the US for a couple of days without any explanation. tunein/BBC failures Can another cox subscriber in the Oklahoma area do a quick test for me? My access to BBC stations via Tunein suddenly stopped last week. I can access them buy using my UK proxy, but not using Cox . The BBC insists they are nor geo-blocking the streams . Tune-in has not responded to my queries. Could someone go to http://tunein.com/radio/BBC-Radio-4-935-s25419/ And see if they can hear a radio stream please.
