Same thing for me. But both Max and Apple plus both stopped at the same time. I believe it has something with app sharing. I had the message Do you want to share with Netflix. Since then apple and Max cannot login. Search on my name to find detailed description in another stream. Same thing happened to me. Both Apple plus and Max cannot log in. I provide detailed information on another stream about this same topic. My guess is there is a code issue. I recently was asked in the app if I wanted to to share my info with Netflix, from then on I lost my ability to connect. For me both Apple plus and Max. I have done all the trouble shooting.... restarting, refreshing, unplugging, clear local app cache. I was a Cox tech support person for 4 years so I know the steps. For apple plus, the first screen comes up asking to sign/in or sign/up. I click then get error 'Something went wrong, there was a problem connecting, try again'. On Max it briefly show blue max screen with sound then get the error 'Content not available'. I have Hulu (works), and tubi also works. So not internet. I can connect to Max and apple plus by computer. So it is not their problem. It looks to be an app login issue in Contour. Mine seems to start on a recent change where I was asked if I wanted to share history with Netflix. I said yes. Since then apple plus and max stopped working. I turned off the watch history in settings but still get errors. I have a DVR so do not want to just swap boxes. Please fix. You can have tech support reach out to me. I love having the ability to say "Show me free movies" then scroll down and select the list of "Ad-free" movies... that displayed my Cox premium channels, Netflix, and Prime ad free movies... that was a great feature I used weekly. Now that has been dropped and a new select that is "Cox + subscription movies". That is also a great step forward but it includes movies that have commercials in them. I now see movies I want to watch but when I click on them realize they will have commercials. You took away the ad free option which was great. Now what would be nice is if you could fix the poor filtering options... Maybe add a filter for ad-free... Not sure why you have filtering options that are shown in the "Free Movies" area... There is an option to do Critics choice - but yet in the area there is already a bar that has critic choices in it. Same for the New Movie filter - there is a bar already available to see New Movies... While I am on the soap box : ) It would be nice to be able to filter movies already marked as "watched" movies... also have a way to mark a movie as Not interested so it doesnt show up again in the list... Also have the ability to either set the filters or at least do not clear them out so once set they stay that way (for example by language, or free, etc) So to some up... lots of things that could greatly improve searching and sorting of movies but you really should return the ability to search by Ad Free... Omaha has 720P also with Tivo. Have 2 boxes both the same. Now I have a notice that Video on Demand is no longer going to be available on cable cards for Tivo. It would be helpful if Cox could provide a site where Tivo Q&A could be developed. Again, why is tivo running 720p signals? thank you32Views0likes0Comments
