Re: Packet loss due to upstream channels dropping Was reading the forum because my service has been awful too and looking for anyone who had a resolution. All of the sudden at 11:30 my service is perfect. 0% packet loss, 0% late packets, and <1ms jitter. WTF?!?! No one has told me anything, no updates, and have a tech scheduled for next week (because of course the issue is on my end). Hopefully whatever they changed is permanent. Saw ATT running fiber on my side of the street, so Cox better get it together SOON Re: 20 GB of data a day when I'm not home Do you have security cameras like Ring or Nest doorbells? If quality is set to high and 24/7 recording (or on motion and a tree or something is constantly setting it off) that could use a lot of data. Quality issue with all services (LA) I'm in Metairie (Bucktown area) and still have issues with all my services since Ida. I get terrible packet loss, TVs constantly need restarting, and phone quality is trash. Worst part is Cox app/website says network is fine in my area. I've already had one Cox tech come out and said he does see a network quality issues but Cox is backlogged with infrastructure repairs in the area. So he just marked it on the report. Two weeks later and still same issues, and they want to send another tech out. Had this happen for about two weeks early August and was finally fixed. However at least the app said there was any outage during that time. Worries me that Cox says the network is fine when clearly it is not. Uploads are around 300-400mb (was getting 800-900mb before), and uploads are about 0.5mb. I get terrible packet loss, TVs constantly need restarting, and phone quality is trash.
